The Table Plan is a short comedy-drama following engaged couple Jaz and Hattie as they finalise the seating plan for their upcoming wedding. What begins as a simple disagreement over where their families should sit quickly exposes deeper tensions around culture, class, race and the expectations placed on them by their parents.

Set entirely within the couple’s kitchen, the story balances sharp humour and intimacy with an increasingly heated argument, exploring what happens when two people trying to build a life together find themselves caught between the families and cultures that shaped them. At its heart, it’s about growing up, changing relationships with family, and creating a new shared language as a couple.
